I can't remember the last time I had as much fun as I did ringing in the New Year for 2012! I think it's because I have a lot to celebrate, and I know this New Year will be one of the best yet! So many things in the works... which is why I have been a little M.I.A. from the blog. Aside from the full-time gig, I've been keeping busy pursuing two business ventures - one a real-estate investment company with the bf. We've purchased our first fixer-upper, a mid 19th century gem in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It has been more than exciting, and what a learning experience! The project is currently wrapping up and ready to rent out by February. Cannot wait to show you all before and after pics!
The second venture is a bigger surprise and one you my be more interested in.. but you will have to wait and see...
For those of you wondering what I wore NYE, I don't have any pics of my outfit (Of course rushing and forgot my camera!) Plan A was this BB Dakota dress but it looked awful on my body - no Spanx in this world could save that dress. So I wound up wearing plan B, my favorite blouse ever, a vintage pearled Neiman Marcus and leather tights, basically this outfit head-to-toe.
